Like all small business owners want to get more customers, but feel nothing, you always have desirable results. Make sure you are not alone. I've heard that many customers and I together, I'm in 7 key things you need to do to get more customers trust. Most of the 7 tips are very clear, but what I found is that while many business owners are aware that it is not really for them - only read if you're ready to take the time to act!
Take the time to define a niche and target audience, because they can not be all things to all people. You should know what you and your unique products / services, so you can place as an expert in your niche. So you must have a clearly defined market, you can describe in one short sentence. There is a lot of information available on the Internet to help you out. So you can ensure that the vast majority of marketing activities aimed directly at your audience to be as efficient. For example, if your niche career coaching and your students are graduates, this is an area you should focus on its marketing.
Change its position to sell, so you can "sell the sizzle not the steak." People will buy from you unless they solve their problem of trying to stop so that the sale of products and services and instead focus on your audience knows the solutions and benefits that your products / services.
Build relationships based on trust with the audience. It takes time and patience even lead to results. There's nothing like personal interaction and public space or workshop / seminar is a good way to show your skills and begin to build relationships (the great thing is that you can use the content and convert it to a CD or e-book, which is either away or sell). Another option is to distribute product information to potential customers - one that clearly shows, watch their know-how, and then give away information that you know them (maybe even some lower prices, better products to potential customers begin to buy from you). When potential customers' confidence and show you as an expert, that their problems are more likely to buy from you and / or advice you can offer.
Closing the shop. They showed that you can trust the expert in your field, and potential customers are. All you need to do is to close the sale by demonstrating that you are, or have a solution to their problem. It is likely that in the previous step, potential customers know you, so just ask if they would like to offer you a solution. If you feel uncomfortable doing to run through scenarios in my head and imagine the potential customer would. Positive visualization is a powerful tool that is often used for confidence - and just like that.
Know your numbers. To get more customers, you need to know where they come from your existing customers, so you can focus your marketing efforts on those areas instead of wasting precious time and energy on marketing tactics that work is not easy.
Be consistent in what you do. Instead of feeling that you jump on the train every time I hear about a new form of marketing, pick a few things that you know is most effective for your business and live with them to do. Instead, spread thin trying to participate in several networking events that permanently or write a short series of articles about your niche. This will give much better results than one item there is paid advertising, only one network session without monitoring, etc.
Ask for help. As a small business owner trying to get more customers, you think you have to do everything yourself. Believe me, you are asking for help, no need to get more customers, banks or break. You can ask people in your network, on the recommendation (be sure to do the same in return). Contact all your old friends and family and let them know where you are - is likely to be much better support than you. Building relationships with other small businesses ("motivate thinking" is just one example of successful strategic alliance between two small companies), you realize how much it's your business will be surprised that he used.
The above seven tips are just the tip of the iceberg of the new program (hereinafter referred to as "effective marketing strategies to get more clients") that I was recently in an attempt to demystify the sales and marketing processes and help our clients to develop successfully.

Nice work. keep it up
